Originally released on "Secret Identities: Lansing Covers Lansing" (Lansing Music TV / GTG Records). This song was written by Chris Dorman, and while he has recorded it as a solo artist, our interpretation (recorded summer 2011) was more of a tribute to the version he did with a band he was in circa 2005-7 called A Story Told. When we were first putting this band together A Story Told was influential - their performances that we regularly caught at Magdalena's Tea House were intimate, engaging and inspirational. The Break-Ups originally were an acoustic-based project and, before we found our voice as a band, in many ways we just wanted to be A Story Told.
