Originally released on "Situations at Hand" (GTG Records). This song was sort of the debut of the "sound" of The Break-Ups. Prior to this we had been more acoustic-guitar driven with some sort of preconception that we were an indie-folk band. While we kept some of these elements in our songwriting, around 2007 we realized that we were a rock band and that we shouldn't be afraid of being one. With this in mind we set out to write the songs that became "Skulls and Stuff," and "Zombie Head," while maybe not the most substantial song, was the song that we finally just decided to say "fuck it, let's rock."
